The Sport3 is our all purpose entry level open sports boat aimed at users who want a rugged all round boat capable of just about anything: fishing, family fun, coastal trips, exploring rivers, tender, sailing club rescue boat and of course just pottering around.

She provides exceptional performance with modest outboards, which makes her a very affordable boat with compromising performance and economy. Fitted with a 10hp she planes early and can, achieve speeds upto 15 knots with and over 21 knots fitted with a 15hp. Even a 5hp outboard will give up to 6 knots.

The standard boat is tiller steering, simpy clamp your outboard on and off you go. An option comsole with steering is also available with and without a screen.

We have kept the layout simple with a bench seat aft with consle, if fitted, to starboard. Amidships is a bench seat and further seating at the bows. Two large storage lockers are provided, one aft and one forward. The aft locker is used to store the battery and fuel tank for smaller engines, leaving plenty of space for tackle, fenders and kit. For larger engiens we recomend the fuel tank is located amidships, under the bench seat, providing better trim and performance. Up forward the bow locker easily swallows up the anchor, chain and warp with plenty of room left over.

One of the key features of the Sport 3 is her internal volume and freeboard. For a boat of only 4.1m she is a market leader in the amount of space that has been incorporated into her hull. She definately feels like a much bigger boat, especially with the deep freeboard and handrails - a great feature when fishing at sea and when the kids are aboard.

Bouyancy is incorporated in the aft, amidships and forward. At rest she feels stable and safe when moving around. Open up the throttle and she gently rises onto the plane providing a smooth ride even through the harshes of chop. Handling is excellent, turning in waves is precise and predictable, even at full speed and she ramains dry even when throwing her around.
